Before you are able to receive the gift of spiritual awareness and transformation you must examine its attributes. It would be wise to examine each of the following: spiritual awareness, spiritual transformation, and spiritual gifts.

Spiritual awareness is what enables us to experience oneness which can be ecstatic and the most fulfilling passion of all. It is about being mindful of spiritual Truths and transcending the darkness of your personal reality (a manifestation of your beliefs) into the light of The One Truthful Reality which is ordinary to All.

Spiritual awareness or spiritual awakening is the process by which we commence to explore our own being in order to become whole and reunite our spirits with our physical bodies in a commonality of function. To be more concise, spirituality is about consciousness, which in turn is everything we experience.

Spiritual awareness is vital for us today because we must remember that we are spiritual beings first and foremost, and that as spiritual beings we are undergoing a physical experience in physical dense or flesh body.

Spiritual transformation cannot occur without the Grace of the Holy Spirit. It is your journey of self-discovery into your divine inheritance as a child of God. Therefore, it takes place through our longings and is a process of discovery of the self.

This takes place in link to the God who is the infinite source of truth, goodness, and beauty. A transformation occurs as we enter into Jesus’ way of life in his stance toward the Father directed by the Spirit. Therefore, it must be embodied, relational, and communal.

Spiritual gifts do not depend on natural talents and aptitudes or developed skills. These gifts intertwine the Divine and the Human and are ’spiritual’ in nature for they are given by the Holy Spirit to every believer (1 Corinthians 12:7-11).

They are “charismatic” — gifts of grace and are not abilities given to do something for yourself, alone. They are God’s empowerment of God’s people for His work. They are tools given to believers to do the work of the world – to fulfill the Splendid Commission to reach, teach and to minister to one another.

These gifts are to be used out of like and in service to others. Your spiritual gifts should be learned, developed and used freely and willingly. They are special abilities, or divine enablements, given to you to make your unique role. They represent intelligences that can help our ascent through the spiritual levels and the breadth of our compassion for others.

Spiritual gifts are normally divided into four areas: people gifts, speaking gifts, serving gifts, and sign gifts. They are given to all believers by the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:3, 6) at the time they place their faith in Christ for the forgiveness of their sins.

The gifts include: a word of wisdom, a word of knowledge, faith, workings of power, a prophecy, discernment of spirits, kinds of tongues, an interpretation of tongues. They come along when we need some additional help to do that which God places before us.

We all experience emotions, some of them feel splendid others not so splendid.  

Sometimes emotions can even seem quite overwhelming.

The past six months I ventured on journey within, which at first seemed quite daunting. At the beginning of the year I made some very focused decisions of how I wanted my life to be, with no thought at the time of how I would achieve it.

One of my decisions was I wanted to master my emotions, rather than feeling like they were mastering me.  I had chose I didn’t want to keep changing my state and trying to reckon pleased thoughts, because although that was effective some of the times it was not always effective when I needed it most.

So a new journey started, to go within and it has been an incredible self-journey so far. I want to impart a part of it that has had a huge impact for me along the way. There are very few words to describe the concord that I have felt since using this method and it is so simple that you can use it anywhere, anytime.  Often in our lives we reckon simple won’t be as effective, don’t take my word for it and try this simple method out.

Exercise 1;

Start by placing a pencil or pen in your hand and commence to clutch it, hold it as tight as you can. Notice how the muscles become tight and contracted the longer that you hold on. Keep gripping it for a moment and then question yourself these three simple questions;

Would I let this go?

Could I let this go?

When?

Allow your hand to let go and the pencil to drop to the floor.

Practice this several times over, in anticipation of you have a sense of what it feels like when you let it go.

Exercise 2;

Reckon about a problem that has been presenting in your life. It may be to do with relationships, money, career or anything else.  It may be a problem that has been presenting repetitiously.
Now as the emotions commence to stir up within your body, notice how you may feel a clutching feeling in your stomach or chest and WELCOME that sensation, you don’t need to mark it or make any judgments about it, just simply welcome them.  Allow them to be there.

And then question these three questions;

Would I let this go?

Could I let this go?

When?

And let go.  

You may commence to notice an instant feeling of relief from responsibility this exercise on the first time, though often you will repeat it several times in anticipation of you feel a lightness and notice that there is no more clutching feeling inside, instead there is a feeling of concord and possibilities.

Often people find a bit of resistance presents about welcoming in a unenthusiastic emotion, yet the truth is the emotion is already there isn’t it? So instead of attempting to pretend that it is not there, you are choosing to welcome it, so that it can go through you, as it wants to do.  All emotions that present want to go through you, so you are building the process much simpler by welcoming the emotions.
As I said, don’t take my word for it. Try it out for yourself!

A man called Lester Leverson, who at age 42 was sent home from hospital after his 2nd sensitivity attack, being told that he had three weeks to live, developed this method in the 1950’s.  Lester took a journey within and noticed that by releasing emotions rather than brushing over them, he felt lighter and lighter, more pleased and more pleased.  

Lester also became aware that when he was expressing loving kindness, his body was well and his life was flowing.  Yet when he was wanting and withholding his like he experienced ill health, in many forms. Thankfully, Lester went onto live for another 42 years after that original diagnosis, which lead to the enhancement of the Sedona Method and The Relief Method.  This is a very small preview of what these methods can offer.

I want to hear your feedback of your experiences with using this method.  The key is to keep practicing this relief technique through out your day, as emotions present.

Remember you are not your emotions or your thoughts, you are the observer of them.

In the Western world we have went additional and additional away from the examination of mental processes and how they impact upon the way in which our lives unfold.  This can be seen in many areas of our lives; we abrogate responsibility for how we feel to circumstances, other people – anything and everything other than ourselves and how we reckon.

Take health, for example.  We constantly look for a physical cause and not a mental one, when in fact both physical and mental forces are likely to be working together to effect a physical symptom.  Depression can be caused just as easily by how you reckon about things as by a chemical trigger in your brain.  The two causes tend to be intertwined.  But it is less painful to go to the doctor for pills than it is to take the time to introspect and examine ones thoughts and feelings or to face the reality of one’s circumstances; or is it less painful?  In the small term perhaps this is the case, but in the long term I very much doubt it.

And if we ignore the mental, we completely bury the spiritual.  We all too easily close our minds off to this seemingly indefinable aspect of the universe in which we reside.  And yet, we do pay some lip service to spiritual wisdom.  Most of us accept the truth in the quotes from the ancient Greeks, Buddha or other sages.  Even those who are “non-believers” are pleased to listen to such pearls of wisdom and accept them as the truth, whilst closing their minds to the real source of such wisdom.

In the Eastern world spirituality has been preserved throughout the centuries.  And in the West, there is clearly a gradual restore of spiritual awareness which can be seen in the volume of contemporary books being written on the subject and also the content of numerous television documentaries. I myself notice it in the growing number of people who buy hypnosis downloads and hypnosis recordings relating to matters of spirituality.

Why is it so vital that we grow in spiritual awareness?  We are all multidimensional beings.  We are mind, body and spirit.  Everything in life is made up of energy and has its own energy frequency.  Everything and everyone has their own electromagnetic field.  We send out electrical frequencies through our very thoughts and we correspondingly magnetize electrical frequencies into our lives.

Most of us are very set in our beliefs and do not question things enough.  People are far more comfortable seeking a physical cause as opposed to a psychological one – let alone a spiritual one.  Yet to ignore your spirit being, you ignore the real you.  Your spirit is where your inner wisdom comes from.  It is your higher self.  You can easily tap into your spiritual side, and in so responsibility you will become more aligned and in tune with source, with the higher you.

There are particular laws of the universe which, once you are aware of them, you can choose to consciously apply.  Sometimes this is called cosmic ordering.  From a scientific viewpoint, your thoughts have energy, and as you focus on something and energize that thought with a lot of emotion and are consistent in your thoughts, you will magnetize what you want into your reality.  From a spiritual perspective, as you question the universe, the collective unconscious, the higher source for something, and believe that it will be provided, and are again consistent in your thoughts, the universe will make it happen.

A journey into spirituality will allow you to feel more in tune with your higher self, to feel aligned with source.  You will feel that you can open your mind more to your inner wisdom and to the wisdom of the universe; you will find your right self, and your function and inspiration in life.  As you pay attention to your spirit self and acknowledge who you really are you will experience an incredible feeling of freedom, inspiration and function in your life.

As you allow yourself to entertain the realms of spirituality you will feel that you have went from damp darkness into warm bright sunlight.
