In the Bible versus the Quran: What Authority was given to the Beast?
The Lion is mentioned in the Bible 119 times, 110 times in the Ancient Testament and nine times in the New Testament. The Lion itself is not mentioned in the Noble Quran; but, wild beasts (wild animals) is mentioned once.
In the Bible, Revelation 13:1-6 talk about a weird beast with incredible characters. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and splendid authority. The whole world worshiped the beast and said: “Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him?”   The Dragon and that beast are not establish in the Noble Quran.

This beast which came out of the sea had incredible characters; he had Seven Heads, Ten Horns and Ten Crowns. One of the seven heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound if it had been killer. The whole world was astonished and followed the beast when the beast’s fatal wound had been healed. The whole world worshiped both the beast and the Dragon.

The Dragon in modern sciences:
The Dragon is the only mythical creature in the Chinese zodiac. In China, dragons are associated with strength, health, harmony, and excellent luck; they are placed above doors or on the tops of roofs to banish demons and evil spirits.
The Dragon is omnipotent. They are flamboyant, attractive and full of vitality and strength. In China, the Dragon is the sign of the Emperor of China or the male element Yang. The Dragon is the symbol of power and wealth.
In small, the Dragon is a mythical creature that exists only in myth. The presence of the Dragon is unproved from the scientific top of view. The same is the case in respect to this Biblical weird Beast.
