Sun into Libra – Keeping Love Real
The current Mercury retrograde cycle is sure to go down as one of the most entertaining in recent memory. South Carolina Congressman Joe Wilson kicked off the season of gaffs and laughs with his now well-known, “You lie!” outburst during President Obama’s health care address to Congress. A few days later at the U.S. Open, tennis icon Serena Williams expressed her displeasure with a line judge’s call by shouting, “If I could, I would take this … ball and shove it down your … throat.” The very next day Kanye West got into the act at the MTV Composition Video Awards by butting into Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech, only to be inadvertently admonished on the following day by none other than President Obama, who mistakenly thought that his comments were not being recorded, referred to the rapper as “a jackass.” And we won’t even start on the mischief Mercury is merrily building with the ACORN federally funded housing for prostitutes and pimps debacle. If you never quite understood why this planet is the famed Trickster of the zodiac, now you know. Read more

What Are Psychic Readings and Can They Help?
If you have never had one done before your probably wondering what psychic readings are really all about. Do they involve some sort of voodoo or weird anti-religious happenings? What happens in a psychic reading and how does it all work. Readings must be some weird form of magic right?
Well, at this top in time knowledge hasn’t establish a way to determine how a reading works but they have been able to prove that some psychics are in fact real and able to tell you things about yourself, your future, other people, and even those that have passed on, and they can do this with out having any way of know. Although there are a lot of fake psychics out there you can usually spot a fake from a mile away after being paid one or two readings from that self.
Psychic readings have nothing to do with voodoo or anything of the sort. Most psychics follow one of two religions, they are either extremely divot Christians who see their gift as a gift from God himself or they follow one of the Pagan religions and their views may very a bit as to where the gift comes from but no matter which one you look at they both believe that their gifts come from something that is more powerful than they are and that they were given this gift to help other people by way of psychic readings.
There is just nothing evil or weird about it for them and really there shouldn’t be. The ability to give a psychic reading is a very natural thing and although there is a particular amount of ability in every self that can be trained and brought out a bit more a full on psychic is really born with this ability, a God given gift if you will.
So then what are psychic readings? Really its nothing more than a clairvoyant version of eye sight or hearing. For some psychics, asking them a question is like asking someone what color something is. The reader can see, hear, feel, or sense something that other people can not. That’s why they call it a sixth sense. Of course, just like learning how to talk it is not always something that comes simple and needs practice. If a self realizes that they have this sixth sense and they start responsibility readings at a childish age then by the time that they are an adult and ready to enter into the field of psychic readings then they will be ready.

Ruth Montgomery Launches Book Series From The Grave
Ruth Montgomery Writes Again! is a book written by a New England family tree, the Macombers, about the “automatic writing” transmissions they have been receiving from the spirit of the award-winning late journalist, and best-selling writer, Ruth Montgomery. This is the same method by which Mrs. Montgomery, the one-time “Diane Sawyer of Her Day” turned “First Lady of the Psychic World,” channeled information from “Spirit Guides” on “The Other Side” in authoring many groundbreaking books on psychic phenomena.
Ruth Montgomery Writes Again! is based upon the automatic writing transmissions the Macombers have received from Ruth Montgomery since she died on June 10, 2001. Ruth clarified to the Macombers that she joined her Spirit Guides – including her close friend, the famed medium, Arthur Ford – in Heaven and said that the human race was at a critical juncture. Ruth said that she and the Guides would be providing information to the Macombers — more than one of them — that was to be used to write a book series that would spell out how humanity can save itself from self-destruction. Ruth Montgomery Writes Again! kicks off that series and includes:  Heaven’s “Action Plot for Planet Earth† 1. An outline for a three-part action plot that gives solutions to the planet’s greatest problems:  I. The need for Third World countries to receive greater recognition in world affairs. The Guides have emphasized that these nations should be accorded a greater voice in what goes on on our planet and that they have much to contribute to the world community. While these Third World countries need help from the more fortunate nations in terms of resources and political recognition, they also have much to offer in restore. The Guides have clarified that the populations of many of these Third World countries are very much in tune with the earth and possess knowledge of universal laws of existence that can be of splendid benefit to the human race as a whole.
       Â
II. Secondly, the book brings to the reader’s attention the plight of deprived segments of society around the globe, especially the youth and women of the world. The Guides have clarified that childish people must receive more and better guidance early on in their lives, for they possess the potential to do splendid excellent in our world. The social conditioning in the U. S. and other developed nations seem to place too much significance on competition, greed, and materialism, and not enough on like, time spent with family tree, and the importance of responsibility for others.  With respect to women, both in the U.S. and abroad, the spirit realm has emphasized the need to right the existing imbalance between the genders. The rampant sexism that is so pervasive in virtually all aspects of society is not only grossly unfair, but is depriving the world from vast pools of underutilized wisdom, leadership, and talent.  III. The third issue is the urgency of human beings taking better care of our home – the Earth. The Guides are imploring us to take immediate action to reverse the way in which we are now literally poisoning the planet and sowing the seeds of our own demise with an ostrich-like, head-in-the-sand mentality with respect to the future penalty of our present actions.  “The Huge Gig† 2. How the Spirit Guides let it be known that 50% of the book’s profits should be donated to help address the world’s single most pressing problem: the plight of The Third World. These profits will be used to serve as seed money to initiate an ongoing series of Live-Aid like concerts involving all genres of composition that is to be known as The World Aid Concert Series (a.k.a. “The Huge Gig”).  “The Eternal Equation† 3. An examination of the forces of excellent and evil and how they correspond with the primary human emotions of like and dread. In fact, “Excellent Against Evil = Like Versus Dread†is the connecting thematic thread for the series, as well as the title of the Macomber family tree’s second book in the series.  This “equation†reflects the belief that the current “excellent and evil†prism through which so many people around the world view one another has only served to make a hard situation worse. The approach taken in the book series does not involve finger-pointing, but rather advocates a non- divisive, extremely inclusive model that is based upon the belief that human beings are essentially excellent, that we all have made our honest impart of mistakes (largely as the result of dread- based attitudes), and that we must stop viewing those with whom we disagree as “evil†if we are to make sure our collective future.  By using the GoodAgainstEvil.com field name, the book series seeks to tap into the worldwide  fascination with excellent and evil and get people talking about the topic. The Macombers hope that this will allow the project to have a platform from which to discuss this absolutely critical equation so that people everywhere can evaluate – and hopefully reconsider – the traditional perspective on excellent and evil.

How To Benefit From The New Age Movement
If you truly knew how to benefit from the New Age movement you would have a new establish respect for spirituality, the metaphysical, and occult part of your life. So much can be accomplished when you use that part of your brain that lies dormant.
It is scientifically proven that you only use about 90% of your brainpower. It is right that there is no scientific evidence to support many New Age theories. But, sometimes, it may be to your advantage to go with intuition and faith.
Dogs can hear higher pitches or tones that humans cannot hear. Simply because you cannot hear these higher vibrational tones does not mean that they do not exist. This is the mindset needed when approaching spiritual, metaphysical, occult or New Age concepts.
New Age spirituality often incorporates aspects of the Earth, Moon, and outer space; the term New Age refers to the Astrological Age of Aquarius. This spirituality is characterized by an individual approach to spiritual practices and philosophies.
Spirituality covers a wide variety of disciplines from alternative medicine to goddess worship — all of which strives to offer an atmosphere that is serene and inviting for all spiritual backgrounds.
Following are a few ways to benefit from New Age thought:
1. New Age composition is composition of innumerable styles, which is intended to start inspiration, relaxation, and positive feelings, often used by listeners for yoga, massage, inspiration, relaxation, and meditation.
2. New Age doctrines and practices (such as Kundalini Yoga) teach that there are seven “Chakras” (or spiritual doorways) within the body through which energy flows. Using this form of spiritual exercise can be highly beneficial.
3. New Age gurus often claim that all the world religions teach the same core truth: all people possess an inner divinity. If you are divine you are very powerful. Once realized there is no limit as to what you can achieve.
4. Using alternative medicine such as herbs can prolong the life, promote a youthful appearance, increase memory, increase your sex drive, eliminate infections, bacteria, viruses, fungus and much more.
5. New Age physician Larry Dossey in his most recent book, Healing Words, has listed over 100 studies on the power of prayer to heal, over half showing that prayer brings about “significant changes.”
6. New Age belief in unlimited human potential – our power to “take responsibility” and shape our own future – is increasingly being useful not just to the individual, but to society as a whole.
7. New Age mind control techniques are widely taught in our seminaries, churches, schools and businesses as self-help courses.
8. New Age is a relatively new expression on all sides of Eastern way of life, mystical traditions, Native American beliefs, Celtic Goddess worship and psychic phenomena. In many cases, upon applying these ancient principles instant results are obtained.

The Gift Of Spiritual Awareness & Transformation
Before you are able to receive the gift of spiritual awareness and transformation you must examine its attributes. It would be wise to examine each of the following: spiritual awareness, spiritual transformation, and spiritual gifts.
Spiritual awareness is what enables us to experience oneness which can be ecstatic and the most fulfilling passion of all. It is about being mindful of spiritual Truths and transcending the darkness of your personal reality (a manifestation of your beliefs) into the light of The One Truthful Reality which is ordinary to All.
Spiritual awareness or spiritual awakening is the process by which we commence to explore our own being in order to become whole and reunite our spirits with our physical bodies in a commonality of function. To be more concise, spirituality is about consciousness, which in turn is everything we experience.
Spiritual awareness is vital for us today because we must remember that we are spiritual beings first and foremost, and that as spiritual beings we are undergoing a physical experience in physical dense or flesh body.
Spiritual transformation cannot occur without the Grace of the Holy Spirit. It is your journey of self-discovery into your divine inheritance as a child of God. Therefore, it takes place through our longings and is a process of discovery of the self.
This takes place in link to the God who is the infinite source of truth, goodness, and beauty. A transformation occurs as we enter into Jesus’ way of life in his stance toward the Father directed by the Spirit. Therefore, it must be embodied, relational, and communal.
Spiritual gifts do not depend on natural talents and aptitudes or developed skills. These gifts intertwine the Divine and the Human and are ’spiritual’ in nature for they are given by the Holy Spirit to every believer (1 Corinthians 12:7-11).
They are “charismatic” — gifts of grace and are not abilities given to do something for yourself, alone. They are God’s empowerment of God’s people for His work. They are tools given to believers to do the work of the world – to fulfill the Splendid Commission to reach, teach and to minister to one another.
These gifts are to be used out of like and in service to others. Your spiritual gifts should be learned, developed and used freely and willingly. They are special abilities, or divine enablements, given to you to make your unique role. They represent intelligences that can help our ascent through the spiritual levels and the breadth of our compassion for others.
Spiritual gifts are normally divided into four areas: people gifts, speaking gifts, serving gifts, and sign gifts. They are given to all believers by the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:3, 6) at the time they place their faith in Christ for the forgiveness of their sins.
The gifts include: a word of wisdom, a word of knowledge, faith, workings of power, a prophecy, discernment of spirits, kinds of tongues, an interpretation of tongues. They come along when we need some additional help to do that which God places before us.

Honey Moon
The Honey or Mead Moon is now upon us. A Wiccan moon indeed. Crops are now close to their first harvest. Honey is abundant, and people make mead. A time of plenty and thanks. The power of the sun starts to decline. Candle colour for this moon is golden yellow, symbolic of the declining sun.
St John the Baptist, Scripture tells us, lived in the Wilderness where he subsisted on a diet of locust and honey. St John is, therefore, the patron of beekeepers. It’s around the time that we celebrate St John’s Birthday, June 24th, that the hives are full of honey.
And the full moon that occurs after Midsummer’s Eve & St John’s Nativity is called the Mead Moon, because honey was fermented to make mead. It is also called the HONEY MOON. [In 2009, this full moon occurs the first full week of July.]
It’s a time for lovers. An ancient Celtic proverb says, “Midsummer Night is not long but it sets many cradles rocking.†Midsummer dew was said to have special healing powers. Women washed their faces in it to make themselves gorgeous and childish.
Here’s a sixteenth century definition of HONEYMOON:
The first month after marriage, when there is nothing but tenderness and pleasure … originally having no reference to the period of a month, but comparing the mutual affection of newly-married persons to the changing moon which is no sooner full than it starts to wane; now, usually, the holiday spent together by a newly-married couple, before settling down at home.
According to some sources, the HONEYMOON is a relic of marriage by capture, based on the practice of the husband going into hiding with his wife to avoid reprisals from her relatives, with the intention that the woman would be pregnant by the end of the month.
As a woman’s cycle runs much like that of the moon, the time to conceive a child was between the time of marriage (or capture) and the HONEY MOON.
It has also been said that the origins of this word date back to the times of Babylon. In order to increase the virility and fertility of the newly-weds, the father of the bride would provide his son-in-law with all the mead (the fermented honey-based drink) he could drink during the first month of the marriage (and, therefore, moon).
The custom of drinking mead after a wedding for a month was also a medieval custom.
Other possible explanations of the word HONEYMOON have to do with the date that weddings traditionally took place. Weddings commonly took place during this time of year for practical reason. That is, it was the time between the planting season and the harvesting season. As it was also this time of year that honey was harvested … again we have the HONEYMOON.
In many parts of Europe it was traditional to supply a newly married couple with enough honey drink — mead — to last a month, ensuring happiness and fertility. From this practice we get HONEYMOON.
A excellent moon, this one, delight in it with me….

The History of the Runes – Unlocking the Mystery of the Runic Sigils
The history of the Runes is steeped in mystery and secrecy, with many scholars today arguing the case for uncommon origins and purposes. For over two thousand years Runes have held a fascination with people, land a sense of magic and wonder. For an alphabet to have gained this aura of mystery seems perhaps odd, yet Runic history shows that these symbols were not made purely as an alphabet with which to communicate, but as symbols of the world around them, including the unseen forces.
Legend tells that the history of the Runes starts with Odin, the mighty God of the Norse mythology. It is said that Odin hung from the World Tree, upside down, for nine days and nine nights, after which he died. As he passed on to the realm beyond death he gained knowledge and understanding beyond that of mortals, after which he was reborn. His knowledge was then passed on in the form of Runes.
The very word, ‘Rune’ means ‘shrouded in mystery’ or ‘hidden wisdom’, and so it is unsurprising that much speculation and disagreement exists today as far as some of the origins and deeper meaning of the Runes is concerned. We do know that some of the Runic symbols are very ancient, establish in carvings from the Bronze Age, and it is fascinating to note that several of these have survived to current alphabets in very similar forms.
The use of Runes today as a means of divination is not new, since this was one aspect of the Runes which was used widely between one and two thousand years ago. In addition to being used as a means of divination or fortune telltale Runes were also used as part of magical rituals and spells. About a thousand years ago the Roman Empire was spreading the use of its own alphabet very widely and successfully, which led to the relative demise of Runes as an alphabet, with their meaning and knowledge handed down the generations in ways which heightened their secrecy and mystery.
But this knowledge and history of the Runes has survived down the ages, and has seen recent revivals which have helped to shed more light on this fascinating alphabet, and on its people. The Runic alphabet is not merely a pool of symbols which may be used in the creation of words or as a means of divination. Many Runic symbols reflect the deep beliefs of the people who made and used them, shedding light on the aspects of the world around them which were of prime importance. If Runic history has taught us anything today, then it is that the people who developed and used this alphabet were deeply connected to the realm of the spirit and to the natural world than we are today.
It is perhaps this undercurrent of mythology entwined with the link between Runes and both the natural world and the spiritual realm that has helped encourage their widespread use today. In a world of unseen digital information, wireless transmissions flying above our heads and gigabytes of data at our fingertips should we question the right questions, we have establish ourselves in a world where the unseen powers which bind us together are rooted more and more firmly in our own technology. Yet this can be deeply unsettling, and more and more of us are finding the need to explore a more spiritual dimension, even if that is small more than learning to see aspects of the world through the symbols and language of a people who achieved what today we can only dream of.
The history of Runes, as with our own language, draws together aspects from several paths and cultures, with some symbols being remarkably similar to Italic and Latin scripts, whilst others are entirely unique when compared to letters from any modern language. It is often the case that these unique symbols reflect aspects of the natural or spiritual worlds in ways which we are only recently beginning to piece together.
The Runic alphabet is more often referred to as the Futhark, and this is the more accurate term for the pool of Runic symbols. The word ‘alphabet’ simply derives from the first two letters of our own alphabet – alpha, beta. In the same way, the Futhark is also derived from the first few letters of the Runic sequence of symbols. But, there do appear to be a number of uncommon Futhark variations, and if you are investigating Runic history you will notice that the two main versions are the Elder Futhark and the Younger Futhark.
The Elder Futhark is, and the name suggests, the older version which consists of 24 letters of symbols, although in Medieval Europe, and England in particular, this was extended to 33 symbols. The Younger Futhark, predominantly developed around the 17th century, is a much reduced form, comprising only 16 symbols.
The history of the Runes reveals that, unlike Tarot cards, Runic symbols provide far more than merely a means of divination, but that they hold secrets impenetrable even to today’s scholars, and a mystery which has existed for thousands of years. Whether as a fascinating relic of a culture and language long gone, a symbol of the mystery and magic which has threatened the establishment across half the civilised world in its time, or as a means of divination which harnesses visions of a natural and spiritual realm realised by its creators, Runes today are more well loved than at any time in their history.
