Elements of Astrology
Groups of signs in astrology impart particular characteristics that are classified according to four elements of earth – fire, air, water and earth. This helps clarify why some signs are more compatible than others.
The fire signs Aries (March 21 to April 19) Leo (July 23 to August 22) and Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21). Fire people are leaders, dynamic. Which shed light all around them. Because fire needs air to exist, the majority of fires are compatible with the signs of the air. Water is anathema to the fight against fire and water, a self may try to curb the dynamism and enthusiasm that defines the fire.
The air signs are Aquarius (January 20 February 18) Gemini (May 21 to June 21) and Libra (September 23 to October 22). These are signs of the thought, the air we breathe a spark to a flame. Can not be tied. They require freedom of movement and thought.
Water signs Cancer (June 22 to July22), Scorpio (October 23 to November 21) and Pisces (February 19 March 20) are characterized by the words are deep waters. They are emotional and sensitive to the depth of thoughts and conversations. Just as water can blur an image or to hide secrets in its depths, so that signs of water have been set aside emotions and capabilities. The water signs are more compatible with the signals from the Earth.
Earth sign Taurus (April 20-May 20) Virgo (August 23 to September 22) and Capricorn (December 22 to January 19). Are stable and consistent. While not as gentle as the water signs are, but, feed. They can be rigid (stick in the mud), and easily caught up in routines. Are more compatible with the signs of water, water is necessary to nourish the earth for growing things. Water helps to contain the earth itself, which is often necessary for the survival of the planet.
